Smaller spray jobs and mobile repairs need extraction without an installation. The SMART-EX plugs in and goes: a 1.1kW motor pulls 4900m3/h of air through six stage filtration at 99% efficiency, with filtered air returned to the workspace, so no ducting is needed. At 960 x 550 x 770mm and 80kg on braked wheels, it travels in a light commercial vehicle and sets up in minutes.
Smaller spray painting jobs in the workshop, such as panels, trims and components, and mobile repairs at customer sites. Place the unit at a distance from the spraying area, position the mobile hood very close to the area to be sprayed, connect power, press start and spray towards the hood.
No. Six stage filtration at 99% efficiency returns filtered air to the workspace. An optional hose adaptor can exhaust to atmosphere instead, which allows use without the carbon filter.
A standard 240V supply. Connect power, press start and spray towards the hood.
The two hood filters are replaced every 10 hours of use. The spark proof and synthetic filters are cleaned at 80 hours and replaced by 250 hours; the pot and carbon filters are replaced by 250 hours. The built in hours counter tracks usage.
Yes. The unit and its hood trolley fit in a light commercial vehicle, and van or pickup installation is available.
