Crawfords

Crawfords is one of the UK’s leading ground transportation providers. With their own fleet of chauffeur-driven prestige cars and hire cars, they made the decision to bring all vehicle repairs and car resprays in-house.

A new body shop was set up, and to complement their combi spray bake booth, they selected a SMARTRE-FLEX smart repair booth from Masterflo. This additional spray booth allows them to increase vehicle throughput, making this new venture a successful and profitable revenue stream.

This fold-a-way spraybooth has huge advantages for any body shop, not just space saving, but adaptable length for the body-shop task at hand. From wheel refurbishment, panels, aluminium repairs…to whole car re-paint spray jobs. The inbuilt extraction system is used whenever the job is likely to create fumes or other airborne particulate.

This booth was made to their spec at 6.85 meters long, 4 meters wide, and 2.4 meters high – it also folds away to only 1.8 meters!
